KLCC Park is one of the city's newest attractions.
Nestled at the heart of the klcc development, this 50acre park is
hidden from the city's hustle and bustle. The park is like an oasis
of lush trees complete with a waterfall and a man-made lake.
It is indeed a main tourist attraction in the city when huge crowds adjourn every weekend and public holidays. For first-time visitors to the city, it is a "must-see" place to visit. From the park itself, visitors can easily access the six level shopping mall Suria KLCC. Petronas Twin Towers provided a dramatic back-drop well-landscaped to the park.
Cluster of trees specially chosen from jungles in the diversity of the Malaysian flora. When these trees mature, visitors will have the chance of plucking local fruits such as the langsat and the rambutan. Some highlights of the park include a fountain pool, a 2acre safety features children's playground, a wading pool, shelters and benches, patterned foot paths, sculptures and murals. For courting couples, the musical fountain is a favourite place.
KLCC Park designed by the award winning landscape, the late roberto burle max of brazil. When he created it, max had only one desire - to "leave the world a little more sensitive and a little more educated to the importance of nature".
