Bentong
Situated 70 km from Kuala Lumpur, Bentong is a small but busy town,
whose prosperity is derived from the thriving rubber and timber
industries. A blend of the old and the new, Bentong offers many
fine examples of pre-war architecture along its streets.
About 8 km from town is the lovely Chamang
Waterfalls, an excellent site for picnics and bathing. From Bentong
just to the left of the karak-Kuala Lumpur highway is the lentang
forest recreation park. A natural forest reserve, the park is a
popular weekend getaway and a stopover for weary drivers. Close by
are the hot springs whose rich mineral waters are reputed to be
excellent for health.
 A brief 45 minute drive from Kuala Lumpur
via the Karak Highway can lead you to Bukit Tinggi. Here the crisp,
cool, natural air, invigorates the body and the mind. Offering a
