Islamic Centre

Istana Negara

Istana Negara, the official residence of the king is located on a hillock at jalan istana. The formal gardens ablaze with blooms. A lily-filled pond contributes to the serene atmosphere. The palace is also the venue is also the venue for official functions and ceremonies. On special occasions of national significance the palace is transformed into a fairy tale land of glittering lights.

Kampong Baru/Kampong Dato' Keramat

This is the most unique and attractive part of Kuala Lumpur, abit of rural serenity and friendliness in the midst of the concrete jungle. KLCC Public Park

This park was designed by the award winning landscape artist, the late Roberto Burle Marx of Brazil. Ideally located at the heart of the KLCC development, this park 50acre park was conceived as a tropical garden amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Highlights of the park include a fountain pool, a 2acre children's playground, a wading pool, shelters and benches, patterned foot paths, sculptures and murals. From the park, visitors can easily access the six level Shopping mall Suria KLCC.

Kuala Lumpur Lake

Gardens/Taman Tasik Perdana The gardens were built in the 1880s and the city's most popular park. Built around an artificial lake, it encompasses 91.6 hectares of undulating greenery interspersed with flowering shrubs and shady trees. Facilities include a children playground, jogging tracks, exercise stations and rowing boats. The Panggung Anniversary is in a secluded valley, is the venue for regular musical and cultural performances. Kuala Lumpur Orchid Garden

Just next to the Memorial Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, the Orchid Garden has over 800 species of exotic Malaysian orchids are to be found. On weekends, this garden is transformed into a lively orchid bazaar.
