The Royal
Mausoleum
The Royal Mausoleum is situated in langgar , about 9.6km to the
north of Alor Setar . This is the royal burial ground and it is
believed that many of Kedah's warriors were buried here. |

 Zahir Mosque
Officially opened in 1912, this mosque is an architecture landmark
in itself. Built in the tradition of Moorish architecture. It's
numerous arches and columns are an epitome of garndeur. The state's
Quran reading competition is held annually within the premises of
the mosque. |
