Artiquarium
Artiquarium at medan tuanku abdul rahman, once a mansion. This old
building has been lovingly restored and now houses a private art
gallery and showroom for antiques from all over asia. The gracious
ambience of the interior makes a perfect setting for a fine
collection of paintings and asian "object d'art". |

Asean Sculpture Garden
Just below the National Monument is the Asean Sculpture Garden
where a collection of prize-winning sculptures by some of the
finest artists in the asean region are dispalyed within a
landscaped garden. |

Asian Art
Museum
University of malaya. Tel : 03-757 1066/1set up in 1973 the Asian
Art Museum displays scrulptures, collections of textiles
originating from various asian countries. The museum promotes
research activities and contains some 2,000 volumes on asian art
films, slides and pictures for research purposes.open : 8.45am -

Bank Negara Money Museum, Central
Bank of Malaysia

Central Bank Building, the Bank Negara Money Museum serves as a
repository for the country's numismatic heritage. An important aik
of the museum is to disseminate knowledge pertaining to the
evolution of Malaysian currency through its exhibitions and
publications. Coins, currency notes, tokens and other artifacts are
displayed at the museum.Open : 9am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday. 9am -

Biomedical Museum
Jalan Pahang. Tel : 03-298 6033. The Biomedical Museum of the
institute of medical research which was established in 1983 records
and displays medical research materials undertaken by the institude
since its inception in 1900. Materials concerning public health
problems in the country, current research activities and those
pertaining to teaching, training and research are on display.
Collections in the museum include Malaysian fauna of medical
significance such as mammals, reptiles, insects and parasites.Open
: 7.30am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 1.15pm, Saturday.
