Malaysian Armed Forces
Museum
Houses pictures, paintings, exhibitions and weapons, uniforms and
decorations of all three Services of the Malaysian Armed Forces.
Weapons captured from communist terrorists, artillery, naval guns,
old cannons and vehicles used by the Armed Forces are dispalyed in
and around the Museum building.

Masjid Jamek
At the confluence of the Gombak and Klang Rivers, where miners in
search of tin first landed at Kuala Lumpur is the beautiful Masjid
Jame' with its Indian Muslim inspired style of architecture
featuring onion shaped domes, numerous colonnades and shiny marble
floors. Built in 1909, the red brick structure was designed by A.B
Hubback.

Malaysian Tourism Centre
(MTC)
Malaysian Tourism Centre was the new name given to replace
Malaysian Tourist Information Complex. The center at Jalan Ampang
was formerly known as the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Hall. Built in 1935,
it was originally the mansion of a Malaysian planter and tin miner.
It served as the Japanese Imperial Army in the 1941 and later the
Japanese Imperial Army. One of the numerous historical events to
take place under its roof was the installation of the Yang Di
Pertuan Agong. After undergoing extensive restoration, this
building now houses the tourist information complex which include
exhibition hall, information counter, mini autorium, a souvenir
shop, a restaurant and Travel Services counters. Cultural
performances and audio visual show are held daily.

Maybank Numismatic
Museum
100, jalan tun Perak, 1st floor, menara maybank. (situated near
pudu raya bus terminal) tel : 03-230 8833 ext 3099set up in 1988,
the Maybank Numismatic Museum houses an impressive collection of
coins and notes from the time of early malaya until the present
day. The museum also serves as a centre for research into
malaysia's numismatic history.open : 10am - 6pm, daily. closed :

Memorial Tun Abdul
Razak
Memorial Tun Razak, formerly 'Seri Taman', the official residence
of Malaysia's second Prime Minister. The late Tun Razak was chiefly
responsible for the country's development and was popular known as
'The Father of Development'. The memorial preserves a vast
collection of his personal and official memorabilia. Also on
display is his private collection of walking sticks and pipes.
Outside are some larger items - his motor boat, golf-cart and in
recognition of his personal Interest and contribution to the
Federal Land Development scheme, a replica of a FELDA settler's
home.

Memorial Tunku Abdul Rahman
Putra
Jalan Dato' Onn. This memorial was established in memory of
Malaysia's first Prime Minister. The late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra
Al-Haj a great leader and Statesman was instrumental in achieving
independence for the nation from the British. The memorial serves
as a permanent custodian for all archival, museum and library
materials of the Tunku as he was fondly called by Malaysians.
Visitors and researchers are able to view the materials on display
and also conduct research into the life and times of this enigmatic
Statesman. Slide shows are held at the mini theatre.
The monument, which sits on 7.5 acres of landscaped garden, was the
residence cum office the late Tunku during his tenure as prime
minister.
