Karyaneka
KARYANEKA, Malaysia's well known handicraft and souvenir centre, is a subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Kraftangan Malaysia, a government agency, entrusted to market Malaysian handicraft souvenir items produced by Malaysian's own craftsmen and small industries. Being just a mere 10 minute walk from Golden Triangle, where luxurious hotels and shopping malls are located, Karyaneka promises a one-stop craft shopping experience to every visitors. Karyaneka has a wide collection of rich items of handicraft reflecting Malaysia's ethnic and cultural heritage. The centre sells batik, rattan baskets, blowpipes, Sarawak woodcarvings, Kelantanese silver craft which come from the four corner of Malaysia. Moreover, the collection comprises some one thousand and more tableware, beautiful gifts, home decors and souvenir items. Besides our main showroom at Kompleks Budaya Kraf, we have five other outlets all around Malaysia that serves an attractive handicraft for visitors to buy for themselves or as a gift for their loved ones.

Kraf
The Craft Cultural Complex is located on Jalan Conlay. This
one-stop handicraft complex sprawls on lush landscaped grounds. It
offers export-quality Malaysian handicrafts such as silk kaftan,
bathrobes, silverware, pewterware, glassware, pottery, mengkuang
products, silk batik printings, batikwear and songket (brocade
material). There are also unusual ethnic items like wooden
blowpipes and traditional rattan fish traps which make unusual
souvenirs to take home. An artists' colony occupies a corner of the
ground.

Night Market - Petaling
Street
Petaling Street offers yet another fascinating insight into
Malaysia and its people. Open air stalls sprout up in the later
part of the evening and within minutes the whole street is
transformed into fascinating bazaar with loud music and bright
lights. Amidst the hustle and bustle, shoppers may find clothes,
batik, handicraft household items and variety of foodstuff and
local cakes. The Petaling Street night market comes alive each
evening after six while the night merket along Jalan Tuanku Abdul
Rahman is once a week affair every Saturday evening after six. A

Pewter
Located at 4 Jalan Usahawan 6 Setapak, is the world's largest
pewter factory where the world's finest pewter is handicrafted. It
houses the world's largest pewter tankard listed in the Guiness
Book World of Records.
