City Cross
The original stone cross erected on this site by the Portuguese was
replaced by a large iron cross. It stands on the 'St. Francis
Xavier Rock' where, according to local legends, the famous saint
shook the dust from hid shoes before sailing for China. Located in
Taman Bunga, Jalan Kota, in front of St. Paul's Hill, the present
cross was erected in 1954 by the Malacca Historical Society. |

Crocodile Farm
Located on 3.2 hectares of land in Ayer Keroh, about 20 km from
Melaka town. More than 100 crocodiles of various species are found
here, including the Albino and humpbacked. It is landscaped to
create a natural surrounding conducive for the reptiles. Exciting
and suspence-filled performances by the keepers and their
crocodiles are held every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday. The
farm also has an area for rearing bees and an amusement park for
children.

Dol Said's Grave
The ninth ruler of Naning who difiantly opposed the imposition of
tax on the district by the British. He valiantly resisted British
forces on Naning, deploying his troop with outstanding display of
military ingenuity that outsmarted teh invading forces on two
campaigns. The Naning War, waged in 1834, made Dol Said a hero of
exceptional valor that earned him a permanent place in the history
of Malacca. |

Durian Tunggal Recreational
Lake
This water spot is about 16km from the town with water recreation.
Facilities include boating, fishing, jogging paths, camping area,
windsurfing, merry-go-round, ferry, refreshment kiosk and
children's playground. |

Dutch Fort
Used as an outpost to enforce the monopoly of tax collection. It
was manned by a small garrison of Dutch officers but was later
abandoned when the mining in Naning area ceased its
operation. |

Dutch Graveyard
A war memorial dedicated to fine British officers and soldiers died
in Naning War (1831-32). |
