Fraser's Hill
Built on seven hills, Fraser's Hill sports a rustic character that

1,500 metres above sea level. There is a wide range of hotels,

pony-rides, a stroll through the hills, and a visit to the
nursery.
A hike through well-tended jungle paths
amidst unusual flora will be amply rewarded with panoramic views of
the surrounding region. On a clear day, you may actually see the
Straits of Melaka on the horizon.
Five kilometres away from the town centre is the
beautiful jeriau waterfalls - a picturesque site with a pool under
the cascading waters. An excursion to jeriau falls will inevitably
include a visit to the nearby Fraser's Hill lake.
Bird-watchers will find More than 250 species of
birds at Fraser's Hill. The international bird race here is a
world-renowned annual event.
Visitors to Fraser's should not miss the mini
zoo and park. Encompassing 4 hectares of beautifully landscaped
garden, the area comprises Allanis Water Fish Pond, an aviary, a
rose garden, a chrysanthemum garden, horseback riding facilities
and camping facilities.
Ample tennis courts are available should you wish to
play and a sports complex in town offers squash courts, a
gymnasium, a snooker centre, saunas, a heated swimming pool,
conference facilities and a restaurant and coffee house. Also
available for hire are fun bikes, remote controlled cars,
roller-blades and roller-skates. The tourist information centre
will be able to assist with any queries you may have and the mini
museum is worth a visit.
Fraser's Hill is a place where you make your own
entertainment at night but for those of you wish to test your voice
the karaoke lounge is the place to go.
Traffic to Fraser's Hill is regulated. The gate at
the gap outside kuala kubu baru controls the direction of traffic
up and down the hill. Open from 6.30 am to 7.00 pm, odd hours are
reserved for uphill traffic while even hours for down-hil1 traffic.
The drive from Kuala Lumpur to kuala kubu baru is about one
hour.
