Telang Usan Kuching
The Telang Usan Kuching began as a vision. As a hotel who's service reflected the friendly culture of Sarawak, a hotel that showcased authentic Sarawakian art and conformed to international hoteliers' standards of comfort and cleanliness and a hotel that created job opportunities for Sarawakians, and offered the opportunity to train and familiarise them to the demanding standards of professionalism in the industry. we opened in 1989 and are proudly known as the world's first orang ulu* owned and managed hotel. Our uniqueness is not confined to the ethnic decor, but cuisine as well - the telang usan has over the years popularised dayak cooking and is established as the place to enjoy original (and imaginative!) dayak cuisine. The telang usan is tucked in a leafy area of Kuching, and is within 10 minutes' walk of the waterfront and the main bazaar, an ideal location for business or leisure travellers. It was confered 3-star status by mocat, the malaysian ministry of culture, arts and tourism. * orang ulu - a group of several indigenous tribes mainly found.

Telang Usan Miri
Telang Usan Miri is one of the prominent budget hotels in Sarawak and conveniently located between Miri airport and the town. The hotel opened in 1997 and reflects the standards of service and indigenous decoration held by the earlier established Telang Usan Kuching hotel. Special emphasis is placed on the comforts of travelling families, and hence larger suite rooms are available.
