State Secretariat Building
On the landscaped hill overlooking Shah Alam town centre is the
towering 24-storey Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah,
built with elements of traditional Bugis design. It houses the
State Secretariat and administrative offices of the state
governemnt in attractive, scenic surroundings. |

Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah
Mosque
A trip to Shah Alam, the State Capital of Selangor, is never
complete without a visit to the Sultan Sallahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah
State mosque.
Standing majestically on about 36 acres of beautiful scenic
landscaped gardens and parkland, it is the largest mosque in the
country. Incorporating the finest and unique blend of ethnic Malay
and traditional Islamic architecture, the ‘Blue Mosque’
as it is often referred to, is dominated by the shimmering stately
blue aluminium dome which is one of the largest in the world. The
dome is capped with a rosette of quranic verses and enhanced with
decorative Islamic calligraphy. Four minarets towering 142.3 metres
surround the specially computer designed dome creating a truly
spectacular and magnificent sight .

Sultan Sulaiman Mosque
The stately Sultan Sulaiman Mosque in klang is a classic of islamic
architecture, blending colonial and asian features for a unique and
memorable image. It was presented by the british colonial
administration to sultan sulaiman in the 19th
century. |

Sungai Batangsi
Waterfalls
This three-tiered waterfall in Hulu Langat district is great for
picnic and trekking.Once in this lush green rainforest, there is
nothing quite like the mesmerizing soundof rushing waters of this
waterfall. Visitors may choose to walk along the paths uphillor
trek in the water which takes approximately 40 minutes. Be prepared
to get wet and take extra precaution to avoid slippery rocks.

Sungai Congkak Recreational
Forest
Cool, crystal-clear water, roaring rapids and cascading river are

langat district. Located in the sungai lalang forest reserve, it
offers colourful profusion of rich tropical forests with a wide
spectrum of flora and fauna. in this recreational forest, visitors

hustle and bustle of city life. Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest
offers good public facilities forcamping, picnicking and swimming.

Sungai Dusun Rhino Conservation
Centre
Located in sungai dusun, hulu Selangor, this unique rhinocerous
conservation centre is managed by the department of wildlife and
national parks malaysia. several programs are undertaken here to
breed the sumatran rhino (dicerorhinos sumatrensis), which is a
species protected by law throughout malaysia. This type of
rhinocerous is the smallest of the five living rhinocerous in the
world today, and it is one of the rarest and endangered species of
large mammals. It is also the oldest rhinocerous in evolutionary
terms. In appearance, it has a hairy coat and hairy ears. Operating
