4WD Adventures
The rolling terrain of Terengganu's interior provides some
excellent opportunities to venture in your four wheel driver. Bring
your own vehicle or join one of the organised 4WD tours through the
jungles surrounding Hulu Terengganu or tour the logging tracks
& paths around Hulu Dungun. |

Angling
From the deep, clear waters of Kenyir Lake to the miles of beaches,
estuaries and rivers along the coast, Terengganu is an angler's
paradise with abundant freshwater eating fish as well as deep sea
game fishing.

Bird Watching
With its large expanses of inland waterways and dense jungle
vegetation, Terengganu provides the perfect habitat for hundreds of
species of birds, both local and migratory.The parks and recreation
areas of inland Terengganu is an ideal base from which to explore
and observe the amazing bird life. |

Canoeing
With over 369 sq km of clear fresh waterways to explore, including
over 300 islands as well as the surrounding jungle and rain forest
areas, Kenyir Lake is a Canoeing paradise. Sungai Terengganu and
other countless rivers and streams up and down the state provide
miles of waterways for canoeist explore. Terengganu's island also
make an ideal destination for sea Canoeing. |

Cave Exploration
Grab your torch, a rope and a pair of sturdy shoes as you venture
underground in search of some of Terengganu's great cave systems.
Gua Bewah is one of the state's best known caves, is home to a
whole network of underground wonders, many of which are yet to be
fully surveyed. |

Diving/Snorkelling
(October to February), the islands of Terengganu offer some of
Malaysian's easiest and most rewarding diving.
Clear, warm water, shallow reefs, stunning corals and a seemingly
endless array of marine life make diving in Terengganu a
pleasure. |
