Container
The natives of Sarawak use bamboo and wood as containers to keep their important documents, rice and plant seeds. These storage boxes are decorated with all kinds of intricate patterns such as calendar and their religion beliefs all on the inclination of the artist. Bamboo is a light material and when carved is beautiful and useful both for storing small objects or simply as a display on its own.
